Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Introduced in 2001, the Dot NAME generic top-level extension is the only one planned for personal sites only. These domains can include personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other labels people are popular by. Initially, only 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you desired to order john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were liberalized and second-level registrations were also permitted. Already taken third-level domain names remained active.

You will have the opportunity to switch the WHOIS details, to park your domain, to create Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an already purchased domain to our company if you acquire its EPP transfer authorization key from the current registrar firm and we will renew it after the transfer has been done.
